Anson College of Cosmetology

Anson College of Cosmetology is a private educational institution that provides instruction and training in cosmetology.

Dr. J.C. Boone, president of Piedmont Education Systems, Inc, founded the college in 1986. The North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts approved the institution on January 7, 1986.

On June 25, 1987, Helen C. Rorie purchased Anson College of Cosmetology from Piedmont Education Systems, Inc... The North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts approved the college effective on this date under the new owner, Helen C. Rorie. The college has been in continuous operation under the direction of the new owner since 1987. On August 7, 2001 Anson College moved to a new location at 1217 East Caswell St., in Wadesboro, NC.

Anson College of Cosmetology is committed to excellence and has been serving the Anson County area for many years. Helen C. Rorie is the Owner and Operator of Anson College of Cosmetology. Anson College of Cosmetology provides educational programming to the Anson County area in the areas of cosmetology, nail technology and esthetician services. They also operate as a full service salon with services performed by students on the clinic floor under the supervision of their instructors.
